The Material Moves shop in Scarborough, North Yorkshire was established in 2017 as a response to the difficulties class attendees were having in locally sourcing good quality, interesting fabrics and notions to complete projects as part of their classes in learning how to make clothes.
Here you will find a selection of products I have available for ordering and dispatch to UK addresses only.
Whilst care is taken to represent true colours of fabrics in the photographs, light and texture can effect the appearance of colour, as too the appearance on your device browser. If in any doubt, please ask for a swatch.
Fabrics are sold by units of 1 metre, further metres will be cut as a continuous length. If you require 1.40 m for example, please telephone with your order, and I can calculate the price to pay.
The Sew Shopping on-line store has been created during the Covid 19 Pandemic lockdown to meet the material needs of the sewing community further afield.
