Day workshops usually take place on Saturdays
A “Get to know your Sewing Machine” session will help you to get that new machine out of the box and start the hobby of a lifetime.
A “Get to Know your Overlocker“ class will help you demystify the threading of this increasingly popular machine.
If you and a group of friends would like to book a private workshop with a sewing theme to suit you , contact me to discuss.

Sewing Technique Workshops for 2026 Saturdays 10am – 1pm £50
27th June - Get to Know your sewing machine
4th July Alterations – Shorten hems on sleeves, skirts, tailored trousers.
11th July Zips – A masterclass. I’ll show you the different methods and types of zip
18th July Make a tote - beach bag
25th July Get to Know your overlocker
1st August Masterclass in fabric manipulation, darts, pleats & tucks to reduce fullness and for design details
Sept 5th - Intro to Dressmaking, All about essential tools & Equipment, how to read & understand the charts on patterns, & Terminology
Sept 19th Alterations, take in , let out on casual and tailored clothing.
Sept 26th Pockets, add or insert a variety of pocket options
Oct 3rd Upcycle re- cycle pt 1
Oct 10th Embellishments - Applique, embroidery, beading and couching onto clothing.
